Slider Revolution Domain Switch Addon GPL v7.2.1

Slider Revolution Domain Switch Addon GPL Overview

Slider Revolution Domain Switch Addon lets you manage multiple domains within a single WordPress slider, switching content and settings by domain instantly. Perfect for multisite networks or businesses serving different regions with one powerful plugin.

Running a WordPress site that serves more than one domain gets messy fast, especially when each domain needs its own slider content. The Slider Revolution Domain Switch Addon solves this by letting a single Slider Revolution slider detect which domain it’s being loaded on and adjust its content and settings accordingly. Instead of building separate sliders for every domain in a multisite network, you build one and let the addon handle the switching.

This matters for agencies managing client networks, businesses running region-specific storefronts under different domains, or any multisite setup where content needs to shift based on where the visitor lands. The addon reads the active domain and serves the matching configuration automatically, so editors don’t have to duplicate slides or maintain parallel versions of the same slider.

Key Features

• Domain-based content switching — assign different slides, images, or text blocks to different domains within one slider instance
• Works across WordPress multisite networks without requiring a separate slider per site
• Settings-level switching, not just content — layout and behavior can differ by domain too
• Reduces the number of duplicate sliders an admin has to build and update
• Integrates directly into the existing Slider Revolution editor workflow

Requirements

This is an extension for Slider Revolution and requires the core Slider Revolution plugin installed and active on your WordPress site. It’s built specifically for multi-domain and multisite environments, so it’s most useful if your setup already involves more than one domain pointing to the same WordPress installation. Because this addon is distributed under the GPL license, site owners are free to inspect, modify, and extend the code to fit specific domain-switching logic their project requires — a genuine advantage for agencies customizing behavior across client networks.

FAQ

Does this addon work with a standard multisite installation, or does it require a special network setup?

It’s built to work with WordPress multisite networks where multiple domains are mapped to the same install. As long as your domains are properly connected to the network, the addon can detect the active domain and switch slider content or settings without additional configuration beyond what Slider Revolution already requires.

Can I use different images and text for each domain within the same slider, or only different settings?

Both. The Slider Revolution Domain Switch Addon lets you vary actual slide content — images, headlines, layout — as well as underlying settings depending on which domain is loading the slider. You’re not limited to a single content set with cosmetic tweaks; each domain can effectively have its own version of the slider while still being managed from one place.
